Things are stirring in the property market here in Marbella with several new projects up and running, the building of the new super port in town, and now the launch of the rather pleasant Aloha Hill Club.
As I am not a great fan of complexes and gated communities, I was pleasantly surprised when I was invited to cover the launch party this week.
Perched above Nueva Andalucia with views of my favorite mountain, La Concha, and down to the sea, The Aloha Hill Club has a very nice open and airy feel to it, unlike other complexes I know, where the apartment blocks seem to close in on you like dark scary trees, blocking out all the sunlight and generally making me claustrophobic. Not here of course, the pool looks like it gets sunshine all day, and so it bloody should, nobody is really looking into your bathroom window, I have seen that many times in other complexes, and best of all, it has a great bar, restaurant, and, sacre bleu, a wine cellar. So no need to run the gauntlet of the Guardia civil, here at The Aloha Hill Club you can quaff as much Vega Sicilia as you want and only have to do battle with the stairs as you wend your way back to the apartment.
One key element that sets the Aloha Hill Club apart from other residences is the unique personal service offered to owners and residents through their onsite Concierge Service.
Along with your wonderful luxury apartment or penthouse, they provide a new concept in luxury living and the Concierge Service team at the Aloha Hill Club is at your service to arrange anything you may desire.
A golf tee-time, an airport pick up, a taxi, a special bottle of wine, a private chef for a special dinner prepared and cooked in your own apartment and much more.
The party of course was a roaring success with dancers, fire jugglers and even an impromptu display of fire eating by one of the sales team, who won’t have to shave for a week…
The white wine served was by far the best shlurp I have ever been offered at one of these events, and believe me when I say they number in the thousands, so if that’s the worst thing in the bodega I may well take up residency myself
