Clooney hits the Marbella hills.
No sooner than the Pikeys from Towie announce they are abandoning “Marbs” for Dubai do we see the possible return of the “A” Lister to Marbella.
Yes indeed, it would appear, Insha’Allah, that we are to have a Towie free season and the possibility of one of the Hollywood masters setting up home in the hills of this once shiny town.
George Clooney has turned his back on Italy, where he had a palatial 18th-century home in Laglio, a hamlet of about 900 residents, on Lake Como in the north of the country, and as rumour has it, has purchased a modest 4 bed villa somewhere up the Ronda road. At four million euros this would make George’s new real estate worth around one million per bedroom. “I think you was robbed George” may be the cry from one of Towie’s brighter members.
Now for you girls who think you will spot Georgie boy spraying gallons of champers in the Ocean Club or dancing round like a whirling Dervish at Sala Beach, think again, George likes nothing more than a cup of his favorite Nespresso, you know you’ve all seen the adverts, and a quiet drink on his terrace whilst writing his latest film script.
Personally I will believe it when I see him strolling through the Old Town wearing his marbellaplus t-shirt and chomping on a good length of churros, in the mean time this all may be a typical Marbella rumour and supposition, great for tourism and all that.
